Kamal Shivpuri, President, who has over 40 years’ experience in Rail Industry especially in design and development of mainline freight and passenger locomotives, train/transit sets and shunting locomotives. He has been engaged for the last 5 years in developing zero-carbon mainline and shunting locomotives of various power and range levels for global customers. His deep expertise in rail operations and operations knowledge has enabled him to explore unique ways to design rail equipment which meet or exceed customers’ expectations. He also has deep knowledge of rail operations and services including condition based maintenance, Testing & Validation, digital technologies, track and signaling, facilities design, Life Cycle Cost Analysis/Total Cost of Ownership. and financial analysis.

Deep knowledge from 20 years of research and development experience & a broad engineering scope includes mechanical engineering & theory, polymer material application, medical application, railway system, and digitization. Manufacturing strengths in metallic casting, welding, bending, forging, stamping, and polymer seal production for automotive (EV, drivelines, wheel design) and industrial segments (gearbox, robot, compressor) A promoter of the entire value chain, love to use innovative ideas to deal with daily operations, always seeking optimized methods for development & manufacturing improvement An expert with a global perspective served customers from Great China, Southeast Asia, ANZ for strategic product planning, market development and solution sales.
